Oh, hello! Excuse me while I blow the dust off this little old blog of ours. I know it’s been awhile, but we’ve been quite busy since returning from Paris with kiddos, holidays, new jobs, home improvement, yadda yadda. Come what may, we will always return to The Chicklets in full force with empty promises to REALLY maintain it this time. 😉
For this post, I basically want to… for lack of better words… “dump” some of our Paris pictures onto you. I’ve been holding on to these suckers for MONTHS. I think they’re just beautiful and I can’t keep them tucked away in a folder forever. The public needs to see these photos turned memories of our “Broads Abroad” adventure.
There won’t be much dialogue in this post, other than a few anecdotes and location names. So, sit back and enjoy the colors, texture, vibrance, and ambiance of La Ville Lumiere.
I call this one “My Mom Grabbing Decolletage.”
Total preteen in Paris.
That time I turned my 12-year-old niece into a grown woman before a night on the town.
Shakespeare was here.
The Italian joint directly below our apartment in Montmartre: Mastino.
You wanna pizza me?
A bit of a blustery night beneath the Iron Lady for champagne and cheese.
Have I mentioned how happy I am that I wasn’t freakin’ pregnant on this second trip to Paris? 😉
Is this the most precious mother/daughter photo you’ve ever seen, or what?
I Louvre Paris.
Some people visit the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa. We go for pupper sightings. *heart eyes*
Merci is the place to be for stunning aesthetic and funky little knick knacks.
I can’t think of a better way to wrap up this post than with a picture of a scrumptious little Parisian chocolate morsel.
This trip was really my first venture in “photography.” Paris is so beautifully photogenic that it really didn’t take much effort, but I’m very pleased and proud of some of these gems. I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at them as much as I did taking (and in some cases, tasting) them.
Ta-ta for now, dear friends. I would tell you to look out for another post VERY soon, but would you really believe me? 😉
